This one... assuming your DZ is no more than ~50' from the edge of the green and probably ~75-80' from the basket.

Will have to see if I can make it, just not sure I can make a whole day of it. Heading to Memphis next week, and have to be caught up at home before I leave.

Par 2's are extremely rare. When/if they exist they'd probably be holes less than 100'.

yeah calling it a par 2 is a strectch...considering I carded a 7 on that hole on Saturday......LOL
But I have an excuse.... my disc golf bag was sitting on hole six being gaurded by bees so I didn't have my normal mid range to throw...

As far as holding the mini this Saturday.... Yes we will hold it... I think there is enough golfers to support both and they are entirely on different sides of town...

The Windwood mini's seem to be frequented by a local group mostly at this point anyways...

Also the birdshot tourney's take up your whole day... I love playing them, but like me, there are a lot of golfers who just can't commit the whole day to playing golf...although I'm sure a lot of us wish we could..

Sue I know a lot of guys prefer starting on hole #8.... Which is really a good idea.... Maybe someday off in the distant future.. When everyone is very familiar with the course... The entire course could be renumbered where the course actually starts with hole 8 being renumbered as hole #1 and going from there and the finishing hole would be hole 7 as it would be renumbered hole 21......

It was an idea Doug and I had talked about along time ago, but we felt it would just be too confusing, but now that the course completely loops around the property... I think it's an idea to revisit sometime down the road, before the permanent signs are made....

BTW, my mother-in-law just sponsored a hole, so I don't think there are but a few chances left to get your name on a hole forever........ It's cheap only 250.00

Par 3 with a drop zone

You will either card a 2 or 4... maybe a 3 if you can't putt within the circle

For tournament situations a Tin Cup would be a great idea

If the DZ is an outside chance, but still realistic, putt (~50-60') you can still have a few players save their '3' from the DZ. But at the same time the players that are more likely to hit 50-60' putts are the ones that probably landed inside the island in the first place.

EVERYONE should come out and see hole #4 at Windwood. Austin Merkel did his eagle scout project on Sat. Built and Installed a SWEET bench, a bag holding stand and steps all the way down into the retention pond. That was pretty dangerous (at least scary) when it was wet. WAY TO GO AUSTIN!

Feel free to send him a thank you.
