One shot Cali is fair IMO, I've seen just as many win playing Cali. Those 60 to 80 footers are much easier with two shots, or if you miss your line on an uphot or drive that practice shot just let you know what not to do.

Depending on the Cali player's skill level, I agree.
An 850-rated Cali player doesn't stand a chance of winning against a typical field for best shot doubles teams. |

Playing solo, no matter what you call it, isn't doubles. Taking extra shots by a player, those are "practice throws". Cali is purely a non-sanctioned thing.
