Week six and payout tonight....even the rain shouldn't keep anybody away from that! I'm predicting we'll be alright....but will the bay seep into the course or not? We'll see....

Just a reminder that a new six weeks starts up again this Wednesday, August 11th....for you new people here's how it works....we play six weeks, drop your two worst scores (or miss two weeks), top half of each division gets cash payout...come on out & play!

Week two of league tonight....you can still get in & get your best four games in out of five instead of six! C'mon down!!!

I shot my best round ever at Miramar last night....one down! I know that's not a big deal for most of you, but for me it's fantastic! My best score out there beforehand was plus 2....and I've only shot under par on a couple of courses, and those were much easier courses than The Nasty Nine & alts at Miramar. Yay for me!!!

Week five tonight....I'm pretty sure Chuck will be working (so he can make Shawshank!)...I should be there no later than 5:00.

We got week six of the Summer III (?) done last night....we're not going to skip a week before starting again, so we'll start the final six weeks of the year next Wednesday, September 22nd....be there!

Congratulations to Adam Metz for hitting an ace on alt 5 out at Miramar last night. This was the first ace in the history of the Miramar league. Adam told me it's his fourth ace in six months after going three years without one. A very impressive shot considering that the winds out at Miramar last night were gusting up to 35mph. Congrats on the ace Adam and enjoy the $100!

Next week we are going to move the flex-start time up to 4:30-5:30. You can still join up in the league at Miramar until Oct. 6th.

Congratulations to Andrew Wright for hitting an ace last night on the same Alt. 5 that was hit by Adam last week! Andy also gets $100 (aren't you glad we cap those things?) to either spend foolishly or pay the rent! Way to go, man! Two aces in a row this six weeks...pretty cool! According to Chris we still have another $81 towards the next pot....will someone hit #5 again next week? Tune in & see...same Birdshot time...same Birdshot channel!

Andy also tied the course record shooting a 45 out there last night. He managed to tie Joe Hague's score from the Nasty Nine IV mini.
