I just wanted to say how happy I am to see you guys getting this going...along with R.J. doing his minis at Brooks every other Sunday...of course, Larry's been doing the Commando Mini at SV for a few years now. When we started Birdshot three years ago (this month!) there were only a couple of tournaments going on per year here & the HFDS leagues...that was it! Chances are that if other people had been doing what today's Houston area disc golf community is doing, we never would have started Birdshot in the first place! Oh yeah....ERic's SWHM series (which ends next week for this year) has been great too! I don't see any of this stuff as competition against Birdshot....I've always said (especially when we first started & were being criticized for doing everything wrong) that I wish there were other people/organizations running tourneys and/or minis too! I'd like to think that maybe we inspired a few people....who knows? Anyway...great job peoples!!!

Thanks Billy. Hope to see all you guys out on Sunday now that alot of other events have ended for the winter, this is the best time of the year to play.

The messages that I received list a 10:00 am shotgun start with the sign up starting at 9:30.

These are some preliminary guidelines, and are subject to change and modification.

1. $10 entry fee. $1 goes to Ace Pot, $1 for Mulligan, $1 for HFDS, $7 to payout. Payout to the top 1/3rd of pros and top 1/2 for ams.
2. Registration 9:30 with shotgun start immediately after registration.

5. HFDS Divisions apply with a minimum of a three person division. Players always have the choice to play up to a higher division. If someone does not have an HFDS rating, they can play according to their PDGA rating if they can present a current PDGA membership card. Otherwise, if someone does not have an HFDS rating nor a PDGA rating, then they may play either the blue or the the gold division.
6. The mini will be played rain or shine unless there is flooding preventing the TD from being able to travel to the course or within the TD's discretion it is unsafe to play, due to, for example, lightning.
7. PDGA Rules apply.
