I blame Steve Jobs.

Act our age? You mean you want me to throw a screaming fit right here?! Most three year olds are still eating their own boogers!

Hey, I would like to echo the sentiments above, what a well-run get together! Had loads of fun despite playing terribly =/

Where the hell did you guys get those scorecards? I was caught up all day admiring how much work went into them. Nice card stock, custom graphics, distances for each teebox (were these Jubin's laser-distances?), rules on the back, all cards cut to the same size, all around awesome. It's a small touch but it really adds a lot to the professionalism of the event. Maybe I am crazy, but that's my opinion.

Also I would just like to throw this out there... how about more than 1 MacG tournament in 2011? People really seem to show up for the MacG tournies.

Thanks for noticing the scorecards Kyle. I put them together last week because I like big, easy to read score cards at tourneys. And you're right, they add a nice touch to the event making it feel more professional and organized. The laser distances were from ERic, as always many thanks.

I need to get out there sometime when it's not sanctioned play and get the slightly updated distances from the new boxes. #3-red changed a lot.

FYI - Here's the list of five people who did not pick up their Birdshot bag-tags after the tournament....Chase Pruitt #8 (I've already talked to Chase...he's picking it up at Brooks next month)...Marty Berry #49...Justin Stair #51...Richard Wallen #92...and Kevin Kennerly #93. I still have some unclaimed ones from Shawshank, too...I would almost venture to say that we ought to make it a rule that if you can't hang around to get your tag at the end of the tournament, then either don't put submit it in the first place or else, if you have to leave early, then you get the highest tag. I know we went for months not even asking for them this year, but we've been trying to get it together the past two or three tourneys. I wish we had a quicker system, but we still have to wait til the scores are completed before figuring out who gets what tag! I understand if people have a long way to drive and/or they didn't cash so they want to get on the road....but it's a little bit of a pain holding them for people...not much, but a little bit. I think the way it should be done is if you have to leave before they are sorted, then you take the highest number. I think that's the way most clubs do it....
