The Commando Mini will be running this morning (as usual) at 10am.
The cost is still $10 which includes green fees for the day as well as Ace Pot and a Mulligan and an all-cash payout immediately following it. Thomas has had the cash-box lately so I'm not exactly sure what the Ace Pot is at, but it should be in the vicinity of around $200! Dress warm this morning! Hope to see all of you out there.

Many thanks to everyone for the good turn-out at this week's Commando Mini!!!
It was especially great to have the old, familiar Stillwagon crew out there throwing with us again! I got to enjoy playing on the card with Matt for 3 rounds over the weekend! I tossed my personal best out there finally carding a 54! I was 1 under going into #18 and I ended up with a 24' putt for 3 which I missed unfortunately...but I still managed to card 3's on holes 8 and 11. Sigh...back to practicing my putting again...

Hey Jay - The Commando Doubles are on the second Sunday of each month, which is this coming Saturday.
I hadn't really done any planning for the disc exchange yet this year, but glad to hear that you enjoyed it enough to ask about it. Looks like we ought to plan on doing the disc exchange on Sunday, December 19th which is in two weeks. Will that work for you? If not, then propose another date and we'll try to do it then! I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like I've got stuff going on every weekend and a lot of weeknights this year.

The Commando Mini Disc Exchange - Dec 19th, 2010 (in time for the holidays!) Here is how it'll work: For those are interested, (it is completely optional, but we'd love to have your participation) please bring an un-wrapped, new, premium disc and you'll be eligible to participate in our disc exchange. We'll run the exchange in white elephant style: all the discs will go on display in a jumble on the table, and the first person takes his/her choice, second person has the option of taking the first person's choice or taking another off the table, if a person gets a disc taken from them, then they can pick from another person (except the one that took theirs) or draw another off the table. I think we ought to stipulate that once you've had a disc taken from you, you're "safe" until another new name gets called from the list. The first person will have the "option" to take someone else's disc or keep what he/she has as the final turn. As I've done in years past, I'll dig down deep in my collection box and see if I can't come up with something "special" for this year's disc exchange. Hmmm...I wonder... But for this week, December 12th, 2010: For this week however, remember that because it is the second weekend of the month, it'll be Commando Doubles week!!! No need to bring your own partner, we'll let random mayhem select one for you with a deck of cards!!! It's going to be chilly in the morning with winds in the 16 mph range from the North. Please dress warmly in some layers that you can peel off or open up as you get warmer. Hope to see all you out there in the morning for some of the best doubles action in town! Larry
