Angry Re: Course Conditions

I went by the park today and the gates were locked. The park is closed until further notice. I will post whenever I can get in there to check it out.

I saw on the news last night that it is one of several sites designated as a drop off for cuttings, etc. from storm damage.

Great! Let's take all of our damaged trees & dump 'em all over the Wilmont! Boy, States is gonna be fun next year, huh?

I'm not really sure exactly how you twisted around my statement about the trees into not caring about victims of the storm....I won't even go there! I was merely being sarcastic about the FACT that the county (as a matter of course) usually doesn't keep the Wilmont playable & that it wouldn't surprise me if they used it for a place to dump storm debris.

Now it looks like I was talking to myself...there was a message from Suemac that said I was uncaring about hurricane survivors. What did you do, pull it? I swear it was there this morning...

I saw it Billy so don't be so hard on yourself. I am sure Sue took it down after a cup of coffee or something.

Yes, coffee helped. Can't stand hearing ANY form of whining/complaining about things as trivial as what courses conditions at Bass will be next March/April.

Guys, it is getting better, my Mom/Grandma got electric back yesterday, but mine is weeks away. Richard is still w/o too. But, when you look at what those folks are facing down around Galveston, we are all so lucky.

No patience, but that's my style all the time, right?

Solution to the problem, I just won't read this board anymore. Seems like everytime I comment, I hurt someone's feelings.

Just be a player Susan!

there is a wise saying that goes.....

Before you go out seeking revenge....dig 2 graves

There is an obvious unresolved issue between Suemac and Billy, it's very obvoius to most everyone who reads this board. It's never too late for the two of you discuss what's bothering you, extend the peace pipe, give each other a hug (when it comes down to it, we're ALL really brothers and sisters) and let's all move forward united - not divided.

Don't wait for the other person - just get it done

How funny. Seems like you must be a pot stirrer yourself, ah?

I have to laugh, as my distain isn't with any one individual, so Billy just know this............I don't have any issues with you personally. I have issues with EVERYONE! LOL

For those of us who have been playing pdga santioned events for many years, it is hard to not comment when you see things wrong, and even harder when they don't seem to REALLY want help. For them, it just seems easier to do what they want, and address the problems it creates down the road. And comments/reviews are part of the whole mess, you can't have one without the other.

Now, I'm off my soapbox for the day. Trying to pick up a generator as my electric won't be back for sometime (and I'm in middle of Houston)

As for group hugs..............I don't think anyone would want me in a group hug.....I might just bite.

BTW, I think it stinks that Texas had 14 ladies go to Women's Nationals last weekend, and that included a good group from Houston and not one of you shows any interest in how we did, and/or anything else.

I shouldn't be surprised but I am still disappointed in the total lack of interest.

See, I am mad/disappointed with EVERYONE on this board.
