If you're planning on attending (or even if you're not) please get in touch with one of your local Birdshot people (you all know who we are) so we can get everything arranged in plenty of time for the tournament on the 15th! Registrations are slowly coming in....I think the foul-up with the PDGA scheduling is hurting us a little...but I guarantee you that we ARE having a tournament next weekend, and it's the first one of the year for the Birdshot 2011 Championship Series! Oh...and did I mention that right now our ace pot is sitting at $446.00? And that's before added ace money from this tournament, which I'm sure will kick it up to $500.00! Maybe that will get you motivated, huh? Seriously....get in touch if you can bring a basket...thanks!

And try to arrange to have "good" baskets............nothing worse than playing an event on Mickey Mouse equipment.

Most of the extra baskets are one of the following:
  • DiscCatcher Sport Portable
  • Lightning DB-5
  • Chainstar
  • Chain Master
Or some combination of the above for those folks that like to add something extra to their basket. No In-Steps and no cloth baskets.

Discatcher sports are JUNK, DB-5s aren't great, and a "chain master" doesn't ecist.

The Chain Master is a high-quality portable disc golf basket from Ching, the inventors of the Skillshot basket. The Chain Master steps in where other recreational baskets failed to deliver - with two complete sets of chains! That's right, this stylish basket has 16 inner chains and 16 outer chains to provide unmatched catching prowess.

The Chain Master is built from quality materials and is galvanized against the elements, ensuring years of life and good looks. Players looking for the best catching basket available for a home-sized budget, look no further than the Chain Master!

How could anyone not be a fan of that? From the inventors of the skillshot for cryin out loud....Unmatched catching prowess....now that's strong...that's right.. 32 chains strong...and stylishness too...who doesn't love bangin chains with styyyyyyyle....and prowess
