LoL!!! Stimp's disc of choice is a super-puppy, but it looks more like a regular Whamo Frisbee than a golf disc of today. LoL!

I'm not knocking DX plastic as I probably carry (and throw) more DX than anything else... But I don't like to "taco" my DX by driving on about half of the holes at Spring Valley...so everyone agreed in the early days, that we'd all put in some kind of Champion or Star plastic.

Heh-heh-heh...how many CE discs have you got Lou? I'm debating a CE Valk or CE Roc (USDGC)...what ya got Lou? Come on out and share some holiiday spirit with us!

See ya in the AM.

It was especially great to have the old, familiar Stillwagon crew out there throwing with us again! I got to enjoy playing on the card with Matt for 3 rounds over the weekend!

I tossed my personal best out there finally carding a 54! I was 1 under going into #18 and I ended up with a 24' putt for 3 which I missed unfortunately...but I still managed to card 3's on holes 8 and 11. Sigh...back to practicing my putting again...
Dang!!! I completely forgot to mention that our frequent Commando Mini player, Jason Morgas hit an Ace on hole #16 in front of 6 fellow 51-clubbers... Way to go Jason!!! BTW - It was a 168g Cro. It was a $243 ace!

With the bag tag event that happened at WW this weekend, it got me wondering. Why don't SV or the Commando mini have bag tags? I for one won't mind not getting a pay out if the money goes to tags. Just a thought for Andi & Don or Larry.

Happy New Year gang!

The Commando Mini will be running this morning at 10 am. The cost is still just $10 with an all cash payout immediately afterward. And for the 4th year running, it still benefits Texas States and other local tournaments.

Dress warm for this morning's run...it's going to be a chilly start before climbing to the mid 60's.

Hope to see all of you out there this morning.

Yep...for those of you wondering, the Commando Mini will be running this morning at 10 am.

Come on out and get getting your aiming skills in practice for the tight fairways you'll find at Texas States and at US Masters!

The cost of $10 will get you a "full-meal ticket" at the Commando which includes the Texas States donation, green fees, Ace Pot and a mulligan.

We hope to see all of you out there at 10 am.

Hope it doesn't rain...
Anybody playing today? I'm panning on playing unless it's pouring.

Have umbrella, want to practice.

Yep...I'll be there Alex. If nothing else, we can play some skins or something so you feel like it was worth your while. (That is if I don't drop an atom bomb on you!)

Just called, and Spring Valley is open. I'll be heading out of here at 9 and should be there before 10.

Don't be afraid of a little precipitation...it isn't too cold so it shouldn't be too bad.

The weather forecast for this morning looks to be awesome!!!

I know that many of you are looking forward to playing in Texas States or the US Masters this year. What better way to start tuning your game up than a little competitive disc golf at Spring Valley's Commando Mini ?

The Commando Mini continues to field the area's largest group of Open players on one of the area's most challenging courses. It will definitely get your game prepared for the tight fairways of Jack Brooks and ShawShank.

Grab your discs and hustle your way up to The Commando Mini at Spring Valley.

We take sign-ups until 10:00 am. The price of $10 includes your green fees, Ace Pot and Mulligan. I hope to see you out there this morning!
