more news to come does nothing for my knee injury. i tee off well behind the box. I had followed through and walked into the box after releasing the disc. Its been a working on for years, why is moving the tee sign over so hard for the movers and shakers of hfds to grasp? I am current so you can't just dismiss me that way anymore lol.

Like Matt states, the boxes are terrible! Its hard to throw left, right or from behind the ruts and asphalt cat litter! This course is so busy I just dont get it?

As popular as this course is I'm sure we could get an overflow of volunteers for a work day as well.

That's why we flagged boxes last time we had a tournament there...of course they're not safe! Matt, I'm sorry you hurt your leg....I hope everybody reading this undertands that this can happen if you don't make your own box until these tees are addressed at Moffitt. I'm going to talk to Larry & see what he's doing for Moffitt Show....

Hey guys, I was looking at the "what your membership pays for" section of the website and noticed that the club pays for score cards at Moffitt. Is that still the case? Would someone contact me and give me some info on this: How many, design, size and more? I might be able to run those for you for free.
Thanks
Doug Rogers

I think someone does them on the down-low now, but will wait for more updated info.

If the option that is being worked on is like MacGregor, we need to rethink that. We all know how much traffic Moffitt has, and how hard that traffic is on tee boxes. Therefore, if they do that stuff (NOT CONCRETE) it won't last, and once again, Agnes would be left holding the short end of the stick.

It is my understanding that if the funds are raised for professional installation of concrete, it is good to go with the Parks Dept.

So, I would propose that after you guys finish the Moffitt Show, those of us who call the old lady home, we're going to hit it hard to get this improvement completed while they are agreeable. And maybe, by doing someting for Moffitt, we'll recruit more new members.

If locals can actually see some good coming to their course, they might be more interested in joining. For people who don't play tournaments, it is hard to understand why all that money is raised to just give away, out from our community for the most part. (birdshot aside)

I usually play there on Saturdays. Yes, it's a ways from home, but that's where it ALL started! I for one see a LOT more newbies playing there than used to. (and that's just 1 day) I always tell them about the Leagues and such going on at that course and they most always mention the t-boxes. I told them a revamping was in the works, so I'd have to agree with you about getting more people to hopefully join HFDS.
