Friday Night Lights!

After shooting lights out last night (three down for me...probably my highest rated round ever!) I'm looking forward to shooting lights on tonight! See you guys this evening!

FYI - According to the advert in the bolor supplement of the newspaper the fireworks won't start until about 9:30. I know Chris had mentioned that we would begin play after the fireworks at approximately 8:45...looks like we either start up & then take a break when the show starts or else wait until MUCH later to start! I vote we start at dark & take the break...mostly because I don't want to play until 1:00 in the morning this time around! Actually when we played that late a few weeks ago it was because we played a second round (and it was a blast!). I might get up early to go play Shawshank in the morning, so I don't want to stay up too late...

Billy and I are going to run another Friday Night Lights at Miramar this Friday. This week we're doing it just for fun and disposing of the entry fee. We'll have a $1 ace pot/light fund.

We'll kick off the round at about 8:30, take a break for the fireworks and then finish up 13 holes out at Seabrook's Miramar Park.

...and we WILL just be playing 13 holes this week...otherwise we'd be out there until 1 AM again & we've got to get up early Saturday morning & drive out to the Birdshot tournament at Spring Valley!

Yeah, we're going to be instituting a new policy. If you take more than 30 seconds to putt everyone starts yelling 'THROW!'

If so, remember that this Friday Nite Lites thing is just for funzies...and shouldn't be taken as seriously as a real tourament or even a mini! Come on out tonight so we can yell "Throw!" at each other as loud as we can! No entry fee this time....just bring a buck for the ace pot which will go towards the glow stick fund if nobody hits it! And we're only playing 13 holes tonight since we've got to get up early in the morning to go do the Spring Valley tourney!
