TAT July 4th - Free Hamburgers and HotDogs

Join us July 4, 2011 for our 1st Annual Independence Day Mini Tournament, Free Hamburgers, Hotdogs & Chips! We'll eat from: 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm, Then have a mini at 5:00 PM. Come celebrate USA's independence on the trail to Texas' independence.

We'll have all 18 holes installed and open although some may be a bit rough. Come check out Houston's newest disc golf course.

Yes we'll be running the Saturday mini at 5pm (7/2/11) and a Sunday doubles at 5pm (7/3/11). I'm not sure what day the entire 18 holes will be open, but we'll play anyway.

Hole 8 is a wide 350 foot fairway through the woods with a slight turn to the left at the end. Last weekend C.J. birdied the hole during his first round at Texas Army Trail.

Just a bump to remind everyone of the July 4th mini at Texas Army Trail. All 18 baskets are installed! If you would like to get a preview before the 4th, we'll be running a mini on Saturday at 5 PM and a Random Draw Doubles on Sunday at 5 PM.

TAT website says: "Tournament - Flex Start 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm". Is that the case or is it 5PM?

The website is correct. If we get a large turnout we may start some cards early in order to get everyone done by 8pm. We just aren't sure how many folks will show up.

The 6 new holes in the back are tough. Played them yesterday. Chunk was so excited to finally put those in. This is an awsome sourse for those who haven't made it out there yet. Think its gonna be my new home course. Love living on the north side where we get a new course just about every year with concrete t-boxes. We're spoiled. And i thought the Sunday dubs was always be bring your own partner? There are already courses and minis that do random dubs. Lets keep this one bring your partner. It's to hard of a course for a good palyer to get partnered up with some who can't drive far ( which u need on this course ) or can't putt ( which I can't do ). So can we rethink this before tomorrow? Just ask yourself, " what would Jim Kelly do?"
