These are the regular northside tournaments:

Saturday - Windwood - regular mini starts at 9am.
Saturday - Army Trail - regular mini starts at 5pm, I think.
Sunday - Spring Valley - regular Commando mini sometime Sunday morning. Not sure why they call it "commando" but it does NOT mean you play without underwear. At least I don't think so anyway.
Sunday - Northside Christian - regular afternoon mini starts 3pm.
Sunday - Army Trail - regular doubles starts at 5pm.
Tuesday - Northside rotating mini starts 6pm at various northside courses.
Wednesday - McDade - regular draw doubles - starts 5:30 or 6pm.

Sorry I missed you at Northside Christian, it was too hot so I stayed home and worked on model airplanes...

I am by no means good at this yet.
The Windwood mini is at 9 am. Usually 11-19 players show up. We try to run at least 3 divisions: open, amateur / rec, and either intermediate or Grandmaster, depending on how many 50+ old guys show up. This coming Saturday, 7/16/2011, won't have as many due to the tournament in Beaumont.

The Windwood course is 21 holes. In the amateur / rec division, 11 to 19 over is usually in the money.

aside from r.j.'s minis at brooks every 2 or 3 weeks, we have to manufacture mini's down south, or drive up and play with y'all. i'm envious.

I was talking to Casey up at Spring Valley yesterday while I was ordering a basket.

I am gonna have to try to make one of these mini's. It is tuff with my work schedule though. But, I'm gonna try.

Would like to join a league as well, but then again............ work keeps getting in the way of my social life!
