The Northside Mini series has completed six weeks of rotating venues followed by six weeks at SV. Now the Northside Tuesday Mini is back on the road for another series of rotating venues with a new stop added. First stop on the traveling series is this Tuesday (June 14th) at Windwood. The rotation will follow the same schedule as before with Timber Lane added into the mix. The ace pot stands at $93.00 and the 'Special Projects Fund' stands at $241.00. Each dollar donated to the SPF also buys you a mulligan. The minis usually offer 2 divisions...Pro and Intermediate. Entry fees are $6 or $7 ($5 to payout, $1 to SPF and optional $1 ace pot). Average turnout has been 19 to 24 players a week.

June 14 Windwood
June 21 Northside Christian
June 28 Timber Lane
July 5 Spring Valley
July 12 Terramont
July 19 Plantation
July 26 McDade

There's enough daylight to push the start time for this rotating series of events to a 6pm starting time. Hope that enables more of you to make it out!

Also, we'd like to encourage everyone to bring a plastic bag and help tidy up the courses!! Most trash collected is always a winner!

Most current discussions with the group (yes, we've been polling the players who are contributing) were to sponsor a hole at Texas Army Trail from the 'Northside Disc Golf Supporters'. We're almost 1/2 way there ($241) and there are only 4 holes remaining to sponsor... Hmmmmm...

Free iced bottled water will be provided for tonights mini (6-21-2011) at Northside Christian Church. If anyone is inclined to donate extra cash (loose change, extra bills, etc..) this will be forwarded to the Texas Army Trail basket fund.
