What is the call?

The disc lands under the bridge on #21.

What does the person do next?

According to the PDGA definitions and rules, what is the bridge on 21 considered to be?

A playing surface, park equipment, or an obstacle?

This happened to me, I landed under the bridge in the mini and played from behind it, had to putt over the rails and barely got the 2

Did you take a stroke for the optional relief?

What rule did you use?

How did you retrieve your disc?

The disc was sticking out from under the bridge on the backside, i just played it from there, pretty awkward putt.

If the disc had been directly under the middle of the bridge, i think youd take casual relief and play from behind, no penalty.

I couldn't find a bridge listed under the casual relief items. Unless you consider the bridge to be a pile of broken, dead and unattached branches. Then the right of stance and relief rule works.

A picnic table is considered park equipment, no relief. If you were under the middle of the table you would have to get a point of contact at least 30cm
behind the disc/marker. Does this apply to #21 bridge?

The disc is on the playing surface not above/below.

The bridge is so low it is not always possible to get to a point 30cm behind the disc, so the lie is unplayable, take casual relief behind the disc and throw with no penalty.

You mentioned unplayable lie, that use to have a 1 stroke penalty added to the persons card and the disc is moved to the next playable lie directly behind the marker no closer to the basket with in 5 meters or go back to your previous lie.

That's been changed and the optional re-throw was put in with 1 stroke penalty.

I'm not familiar with a free casual relief from park equipment/bridge. Has there been a case discussed under rules Q&A that gives a casual relief to a bridge with no ob under it.
