Moffitt Rat Race Bag Tag Challenge/Aug. 6, 2011

As many of you already know, Michelle Deering has designed a Moffitt bag tag on behalf of HFDS to help raise funds for concrete boxes at Agnes Moffitt Disc Golf Course. The tags went on sale for $10 last week if you've been lucky enough to hook up with her & get one! In order to raise more funds for Concrete Shoes For Agnes, HFDS will be running a bag tag challenge mini tournament on Saturday afternoon, August 6th...sign-ups will start at 3 PM & we should be ready to tee off at 4:00. Your entry fee will be $20 if you do not already have a tag & $10 if you do...PLUS we are asking everyone to bring at least one disc (more if you want to!) to throw into the kitty for payout a la Moffitt Show! There won't really be divisions per se since the tags will be handed back out from best score to worst score...but some people will be able to leave with some extra plastic & everybody will leave with some warm fuzzies knowing that they have donated to a great cause...one that I'm sure Father Dave & Jimbo would highly approve of! The City of Houston's Parks & Recreation department will most likely be ready to move on this as soon we have the funding in place, so come on out to show your support & do your part to get this old lady some new shoes...concrete shoes!

Well, just another bump. I have assembled some tie dye that 100% of proceeds to benefit Agnes and her concrete shoes.

Here's hoping we have awesome time. Bringing my extra BIG A$$ water coolers to insure we've got enough water!

So....knowing I don’t have to stare at Griffs legs during this round which tee boxes are we pitching from (Short box or Slightly Longer box). Not that there is a significant difference. lol
