Volunteer Recognition

As current president of HFDS, I wanted to thank and recognize the team of volunteers for the Concrete for Moffitt Bag Tags and the Concrete for Moffitt Bag Tag Challenge fundraiser tournament. Yesterday, we sold the rest of the Bag Tags and had an approximately 90 person turnout, despite the heat advisory.

Thanks to Michelle for coming up with the idea for creating and selling bag-tags to raise funds for concrete for Moffitt as well as creating the artwork and managing production of the tags.

Thanks to Conrad and Michelle for selling the bag-tags.

Thanks to Billy for promoting and running the Bag Tag Challenge.

Thanks to Tiffany and Conrad for assisting with the running of the tournament.

Thanks to Lance for running the CTP fundraiser.

Thanks to Suemac for providing water coolers on the course.

Thanks to the guy who provided the bottled water on the course, whose name alludes me at this time.

If there is anyone else I left out, thanks to you, also!

I am proud of how the disc golf community came together in this effort, and I am honored to be associated with these volunteers who support Concrete for Moffitt.

Between donations and fundraising so far, I estimate we have raised approximately $3,500, which if correct, is almost halfway to our goal of $7,200.
