I feel especially bad for those who drove from Beaumont & Austin in the "hopes" of getting in...me personally, I wouldn't drive across town unless I knew I was playing, but that's just me. For those of us who did sign up in plenty of time, it was a hot grueling day on one mother of a course....kudos to those of you who stuck it out...and thanks for your patience (and your fundraising dollars for US Womens) while we worked out the computer snafu problems for payout. Sorry that the adult beverages didn't show up...I was looking forward to some Bombshell Blonde myself! As soon as I can find out the final total for how much was raised for the ladies I'll post it up here. Thanks of course to Steve & the whole Dufrane clan for opening up their home to us again & those always spectacular biscuits & gravy!!! The $500 ace pot now moves to Oak Meadows tourney on September 10th....here's a gentle reminder to sign yourself up EARLY!!!

I will sign up in plenty of time when you guys finally run a B-tier. It is hard to get a large amount of MPOs to commit to a C-tier early.

BTW both Jeremy and I made as much as 2nd in just side bets.

Oh and ALL of us drove in because we were told we were "early" on the list but could never get an "official" word from Birdshot.

I also asked a few times on here with no response which is the main thing that pissed me off.

I can't believe a 61 is a 1030+.....I mean I'm sure the course is tough but not that tough.

It is a good course for pros to get ratings on due to the fact a lot of the lower rated guys have a harder time with the lines compared to the higher rated guys.

I was -4 on the front after missing 1 and 2

Yeah and somewhat competitive golf. Not talking about players but the atmosphere.

Matt....I don't live with my computer like some people do! I post here when it's convenient (mostly at work) but I don't have an I-phone...Friday I called in sick & was busy with my wife buying a new car! I would have been happy to give you the TD's number so you could have called him to find out where you were on the waiting list....I think most of our numbers are listed on the Birdshot website (I know mine is, which is probably why everyone always calls me...which I don't mind). If you had wanted Dolla Bill's number I would have given it to you...not everything is always going to be up to date on this or any other thread...sometimes the computers are down! I was trying to print out the players list from PDGA Friday night AND Saturday morning & couldn't get in! Once again...any questions about any tournament need to be directed to the TD personally & not through anybody else or any message board thread (although I certainly DID pass on everybody's name that called me to get on the waiting list to Dolla Bill)...I assume he was writing down names in the order that I e-mailed them to him.
