Since the course is going to be designed by The Wright Brothers this time then we should officially designate the site as Kitty Hawk for the day!

Thanks ahead of time to all of you people who are bringing a basket for Sunday's mini! Please meet us in the parking lot at 1:00 if you're bringing a basket & we'll send you out to get them set up....hopefully we can start signing people up around 1:30 & then get started shortly after. As usual, please bring small bills if you can (and I know you can...all you have to do is stop & buy something with that $20 bill on the way over!!!)....

Today's Day-of-Mini course is approximately 7,075' long with two 170' par two holes and one 700' hole. Everything else falls in the middle with a total par of 60 for all 18 holes. This course was designed by Andy & Joe Wright along with Adam Metz. It's different, that's for sure, and plays well. Both times through hole 9 plays as an 170' island hole, and the two meter rule is in effect ONLY on those holes.

Starts at 1:30pm at the corner of Diana and Reseda in Clear Lake. $15 entry with $5 going to the League City basket fund. The ace pot stands at $48.

Day-of-Mini #4 is coming up this Sunday and once again we're gearing up to put together a great course for everyone. We're looking at using a new section of the old golf course this time to mix things up. I'll have more details after I get an opportunity to walk the property this week.

So far the Day-of-Mini series has raised $500 for the League City disc golf course. That's one hole sponsorship taken care of. We also have five additional hole sponsorships spoken for. The course needs nine hole sponsors and a course sign/practice basket sponsor so we are 60% of the way there now. Come out and play on Sunday and help us complete our fundraising for the Magnolia Creek course!

Sign-up starts at 1:30 and we will tee off at 2pm. Once again, the cost is $15 each with $5 going to the League City basket fund and $10 going to payout.

It's looking like we are going to use the west section of the course this Sunday. Parking will be across Bay Area Blvd at Thor Lane in the Flow-Cal building parking lot.

This section has the most remaining trees of any part of the old ball golf course and should provide us with some excellent and fun holes. Due to the size of this section I'm hoping to have 12 baskets out there for a 24 hole course. We've got 10 baskets spoken for already so if you have one, and you can bring it out on Sunday around 1pm, please let me know.

That looks to be: 2222 Bay Area Blvd (29.570, -95.110 for the GPS savvy)

ATTENTION DAY-OF'ers!!! Please watch the weather reports Saturday night/Sunday morning...right now they're predicting lots of rain Sunday...if that's the case we will postpone the mini for a couple of weeks (Chris has something going on next Sunday). Since this is an informal kind of thing we've been doing out here, Chris & I don't want people (or ourselves) getting sick playing in cold rain...if we don't have to do it then we won't!

You spelled "postponement" wrong.

Both here and on every single disc golf related Facebook group under the sun.

You misread the question or forgot to answer the "when" part.

It doesn't do those driving from the other side of town any good if wait until 10 minutes before tee off to "postpone" the event.
