Question: Why is Parks Dept open to tree planting at MacGregor, but say we need to wait maybe years till drought passes when talking about Moffitt?

There are a couple of different entities, I think Trees for Houston was the group who wanted to hold off on planting. Seems Parks & Rec is moving forward though and they do have Moffitt in mind

Phase 1 of the MacGregor Tree Planting was a success. Holes 1-10 gained some much needed obstacles and the park overall looks much better. Holes 15, 17 & 18 had some unexpected changes and may need adjustment, but that can be worked out later. Phase 2 coming soon, I will keep everyone posted.

i think that mac gregor should be looked at. a lot of time and energy went into making those tee boxes. now that all the trees are gone, in my opinion. it was a total waste of resources.

I played Nottingham this morning, and was shocked at how dry it was with all the rain we have had. How wet is MacGregor with all the recent rains. I know it can hold water sometimes. Thanks I am maybe heading out tomorrow morning to play MacGregor
