What is the rationale behind the lack of age-protected divisions?
I think that this might be the first Birdshot tourney I've seen that didn't offer age-protected divisions. The sliding scale entry fees for the Pro divisions seem a little wierd to me too. - If someone jumps into MPO and pay $22 entry fee due to their rating, would that have some affect on the pay-out level if they finished in the cash? Anyone else have any thoughts about this? It seems like some experimentation is being done here, and I'm not too sure that I want to be a "lab rat" for it.

It's been working very well for us so far. We've tweaked it a bit for BCS events but overall the sliding scale has been received positively. |

Thanks for the clarification Chris.
I suspect that the lack of age-protected divisions will keep a lot of us "aged" guys from playing. I know of at least 3 of us old guys that will be skipping this one because of it, but all of us would play in it if we had a GM division. I'd be interested in knowing if this changes because all 3 of us would play otherwise. Larry
