2012 TX State Am Doubles - Mar 3-4 - Snow Farm

We are starting to get a number of inquiries about 2012 TX State Am Doubles at the Snow Farm. Waterloo DGC will run it again. Dates will likely by Mar 3-4, but these are not confirmed yet. We are finalizing who the TD will be. We have a few people interested and willing, and we should have a final decision soon.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Birdman (TD) wants to see if there is interest in a Mixed Division this year. It would not be subject to divisional/ratings criteria, and in fact, would be a totally seperate event from the PDGA standpoint.

As this was a popular division in the past, they want to explore adjusting the admin. side, and accomodate those of us wanting to play mixed.

I haven't seen the registration list yet, but wanted to bump this up in the Out of Town Tourney area to get everyone thinking and planning for the Texas State Am Doubles at the Snow Farm.

I believe that the dates of March 3-4 have been confirmed now.

I noticed a big jump in registrations for this event! Wow! I'm seeing some names registered for it that I haven't seen in a long time! I think the count was at 20 teams already...grab yourself a partner and get signed up already!

Dang! The registration list for Texas State Am Doubles just about doubled over the weekend! It was at 52 players, and today it is showing 92!!! Holy smokes!

If you readers out there know of anyone wanting to play in this one, you'd better advise them to get moving on getting their registration in. The list is making BIG jumps in numbers!

It's about time to rattle the cages of all of those Grandmasters that still haven't signed up yet! We need to have more than 4 GM teams out there!!!!
