Moffit Concrete Boxes?

Hey all,

Just wondering if there has been any progress on the boxes at Moffit. Not trying to push, just hadnt seen any info in a while. I know there was some debate a while back and I have heard that the neighborhood wants to put a walking path in but not sure what the official word is.

still pending approval from super-neighborhood group, civic club and city council. parks and rec has approved the concrete pads and redesign

i have seen the plans for the walking path that goes around the pool, the time frame for the path is unknown

I received an email from Council Member Helena Brown, Houston City Council District A's office advising that earlier this week, Council Member Helena Brown approved the Agnes Moffitt Proposal. My understanding is that all that is left is for Director Joe Turner of Parks & Rec. to approve the proposal.

Houston Parks Board finally got all the sign-offs from HPARD and has given the award to Elite Concrete, the target install deadline is October 5th.

Also, there will be wooden stakes all over the course marking the position of the boxes so please watch out for those as the park is now under construction
