ERic, I haven't been out there so I can't answer any of those questions! What I can tell everybody is that online registration will shut down at suppertime today, so if you want to make sure you get in on this inaugral round tomorrow then you better get on the stick & do it today!

Oh yeah.....baskets will be in today! Just temporarily however...they have to come back out Sunday so the parks department can finish some other stuff up. We're lucky that we are going to be able to play there tomorrow!

Are you setting up tourney HQ in the lot by #1 or the section closer to #16/17?

the little creek was dry when i was there, unless it rains i imagine it still will be. very little chance of losing a disc unless you really get it lost in the woods or stuck in a tree

Sorry for the delay in bringing course information. It's been a challenge getting to this point. We can thank the park's department for letting us go ahead with the first test of the course.

Regarding questions above...

I sent Eric the course map and he uploaded it on dgcoursereview so you can now get an 'overhead' view of the layout. Keep in mind that all of the holes are 'carved', so there is rough on both sides of the fairway.

The terrain around a few of the baskets (including the practice basket) is kind of rough. The parks dept. has been smoothing the ground around the baskets and tee boxes and still has just a little more work to do in that area.

We will be setting up HQ at the pavilion near the restrooms and playground by the main parking area (closest to holes 13 and 17). The parking area near Hole #1 is a gravel road with limited parking (on gravel) under the trees.

We will have course map handouts for everyone and the tee signs will have the hole #'s and distance on them.

It is going to be really hot and we plan to have plenty of water coolers on the course but please also bring your own plus other drinks like Gatorade and Powerade.

There aren't any fast food or restaurants located right near but back at I-45 and League Line Road there's a McDonald's, Jack in the Box, Wendy's and a Cracker Barrel, unless you bring your lunch with you.

The park usually has been opened by 7am or thereabout. Player check in and late registration ($5 late fee/if spots available) will be from 7:15 to 8:15. Player's meeting at or as close to 8:30 as possible with a 9am tee off for Round 1.

If you plan to play, please try to register today. Registration will close this evening.
