Where: TC Jester Disc Golf Course Costs: $10 entry fee - optional $1 Ace Pot and up to 5 $1 mulligans can be purchased. (Note: Mulligan fund goes to HFDS for the Jester course improvement fund...a worthy cause, don't you think?) Featuring Houston's only 100% all cash payout immediately after the round ends. The weather looks to be good this morning with pleasant temps and a building breeze...should be good playing conditions. I hope to see you out there this morning. Larry

Happy Commando New Year too!!!
HFDS welcomes all disc golfers to the last run of the 2012 Commando Season! We'll be taking sign-ups near the practice basket on the TC Jester course at 9:00 am this morning with tee off to follow after registrations. The cost is $10 for entry fee and optionally, you can purchase $1 Ace Pot and up to 5 $1 mulligans. (Mulligan fund proceeds go to HFDS for the TC Jester course improvement fund.) We'll payout 100% of entry fees to division winners immediately after the round ends. The weather looks to be a little brisk, but otherwise very good playing conditions. I hope to see you out there one last time this year! Larry

Yep...
The Commando Mini will be running tomorrow (1/13) at its usual time of 9 am. The weather looks to be cold, breezy and a chance of rain showers. Not great, eh? But on the other hand, how often do we get a chance to practice playing in such conditions? Cost: $10 Optionals: $1 Ace pot up to 5 $1 mulligans can be purchased.

Looks like the main line of rain has just about passed us.
I'm showing 43 degrees out there and its pretty windy. Although the temp is supposed to be edging up a bit, it's still going to feel chilly with the wind. I'm going to head out there for sure - hope to see some other brave souls venture out to play. Come on, put on an extra coat and a warm hat, and grab your secret stash of stable plastic and join us! As always, the Commando Mini will be running tomorrow morning 1/27.
Please come out and show your support of HFDS's TC Jester course improvements. Once we get the $1,500 for the baskets paid off, we'll keep raising funds for concrete tee pads. Tomorrow's forecast is showing 58 degrees at 9 am with 21 mph winds. It's probably going to feel a bit chilly starting off. It's one of our good opportunities to practice in the wind...which is always a good skill to have.  My advice is to wear something to break the wind and grab your most stable plastic and come on out for a little Commando action! Larry
