Never played there, but from the looks of the pictures, looks like it was a nice course at one time.

Where on the campus is this course? I go to Rice University 5 days a week with my job, and I have never seen it.

If you have some contacts at Rice maybe you can find out who is in charge of the course, it really needs to be fixed and I was willing to help them with the layout but could never find anyone who knows anything about it.

The course is in bad shape, but it is located off Main St and John Freeman Blvd.
I tried over a year ago to help clean it up and restore the course, but couldn't get anything going. This is who I talked to: Evan Stein Associate Director, Rice Recreation Center Rice University, 6100 Main St, MS-523 Houston, TX 77005 Phone: (713) 348-2739 Fax: (713) 348-5329 E-mail: estein@rice.edu Web site: http://recreation.rice.edu |

I was there a few days ago, they were clearing brush from part of the course, but basket one is not in the ground, they used to have it proped up between cinder blocks, not its lying next to the maintenance shed. Hole 2's basket is in the thick of tall grass and short trees. The rest of the baskets are there and in pretty good condition. Most tee markers are gone though. |

Not really sure where the best place to park is located. I walk over to the course from school. |

I notice there is a garage across the street on Main. That is the closest place to park, but you will have to pay. The cheapest place to park on campus, is in the west lot of the football stadium , its only $1 to park, but its about a mile walk to the course.
