The tee-marker for #9 is not put back in yet. Play from the flat area and there is a white 'x' where the tee-marker will be. Also, the brick for alt #8 (#17) appears to have been covered with new sod or perhaps removed.

Richard, Paul and I put in the marker for #9 (new location) and put #1 marker back in the ground. Also moved the marker for #6 to make a better tee area behind the current rut that had developed.

Also Paul found the buried alt#8 yellow brick and uncovered it.

More construction going on at Mozola as BBP impliments the master plan along the bayou. The new pathway is changing the shape of 4's fairway some. Once they are done we will adust tees and baskets.

Warm-up basket has been temporarily removed due to construction in that area. All normal tees and baskets are playable but rough with all the construction on the pathways in progress.

The practice basket that has been lying loose on the ground for the last few months has disappeared.

Parks & Rec says they picked it up. If they can't repair it, theyll give us another basket, but we have to wait on all the construction to see where its final placement will be.

The course is in the best shape it's been in all summer. They mowed the entire course except for the hillside around #1's basket. All the construction appears to be done on our side of the Bayou.

For those who haven't been out in a while:
#2/11 has a large fenced in area and a construction trailer in what used to be the middle of the fairway. It's still playable, but much tougher playing this area as OB.

The water has been high all summer, and is extremely high after the weekend rains. You can't cross #6 on the stones, you have to walk around to the bridge. The path changes really hose up #8/17. The basket is now just a few feet from the path, and the path is very much in play from both tees.

Hopefully the grass won't grow too quickly, and the course will remain relatively nice until spring.

The course is in good shape. The recent changes to #1, #2, #4, and #8 improve flow and reduce conflicts with the path. There are new red markers for the main set of tees made of some sort of brick that is numbered and sticks partially above the ground. I understand white markers of the same design will be going in to more clearly mark the alternate tees, which is something that has been needed for a long time.

#1 is very much like the layout that it was during the construction of the skate park (short near the blue pipe and the long near the grove and granite benches). #2 is revived from the original design with a slight modification to the main tee. #4 is moved to the right side of the path and more elevated up the hill side. #8 is completely different and is shorter than before and on the bayou side of the path.
