Default Shawshank

With Birdshot holding a tournament up at Shawshank in November, this offer might just interest some of you. Steve had been doing Steak dinners on the weekends up at his place. You come up, play as much as you want, and then chow down! It's awsome! All he asks is to throw some dough down for dinner, but it's a great time. My scale can tell you I've been taking advantage of it as of late. LOL! Give him a call and let him know if you are coming, but he's pretty accomodating.

Ditto on the hospitality and challenging golf! Sounds like a good excuse to come out for the day!

I know he won't be in town this weekend, but yeah, these steaks he's been getting have been 1.5" thick bone in ribeyes. I enticed Larry up there one weekend, he seemed to love it.
We've been doing this on and off for about 2 months now. If you live far away from the course, this makes the trip worthwhile in my opinion.

Isn't that the same weekend as Texas Teams?

Thumbs up Re: Shawshank

It may be. Looks like another gotta choose event. Hey, like I've told everyone else, in previous years, there have not been any choices. It's been all or nothing. At least now there will be room for others who didn't get picked up by a team to play in an event the same weekend.

Here's the link to the course description:

Having played two rounds there I'll say it's a pretty challenging course!
