They at least need to have the hole number sharpied on them.
The laser distances for seven of the nine are on the DGCR page. I'll get the last two when I download the GPS info from my handheld.

Are there bricks in the ground for # 2 ,4, and 6?

Over the next few weeks,
1. I'll brick in larger, permanent T-boxes for the Alt's. and paint them.
2. Replace the 5 missing chains from the various baskets.
3. install some type of T-box signs for the Alt's.
4. Stubb all the small stalks in the new fairways.

Overall the park is in great shape and is well maintained and it will be my pleasure to keep the course in tip top shape.

Hopefully Leafylinks (who built the 9 new Alt's) and I can get started on 9 brand new holes (in the woods behind the #6 fairway) real soon...

That was the idea all along. The drainage district owns the property, so a little coordination effort there. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks for honoring Da island hole for the mini.

I think if we built 9 new holes back in there (in the vein of Spring Valley's finess course) "The Mountain" would rival SV and BB as the best in the area, due to it having the added element of elevation...

Go to Birdshot's website & look under 2008 Mini Tournament Schedule...from that page there's a link at the bottom for results.

This is part of the deal im working on with Woodlands parks dept. There is actually room for 18 more holes back there (20+ acres), but it may be better to stick with 9...... and also another course in a new woodlands village which I will give details on later.

The reason I didn't paint or write anything on the bricks is because those may not be their final resting places. Scott, if you have some better bricks to use, feel free to bring them and we can finalize the alternates.

I am curious, why someone who played the tournament is asking if there are bricks for #2 #4 and #6?

There were when we played Saturday.

And speaking of #4A. That was a fine hole for now, but it's going to require constant trimming & upkeep to prevent the opening from becoming overgrown and making the shot ridiculous/impossible.

I just looked for the flags on most holes (placed there for the tournament), but I do remember looking and not seeing a brick on 4.
