Really? That's pretty lame. I agree on his prices too, but I usually only pick up DX plastic from him. He had a Champ Shark I was interested in but he wanted 9 bucks! C'mon, that's only like $3 less than the price of a new one...

I really dont think $10 for a slightly used champion disc is unfair. Where can you get a brand new champ disc for $13??? theyre $17+tax at spring valley and at least $15+tax at academy, which you can only get beasts and valks for the most part........

I thought Star was $15-17? Maybe $9 isn't that unreasonable, I don't throw premium plastic that much. I decided it wasn't worth it to me at least.

Star and Champion are both premium plastics, its just a matter of preference for why people pick one over the other. I would also say that Pro is premium plastic too, although it lacks the durability of star, it has tons of glide and speed. DX is not really premium

I sell my used champ, pro and star discs for $10 and anything DX or super beat up is $5. The reason for this is there usually isnt much difference between a brand new premium disc and a slighly used premium disc, they break in really slow, so you are getting a new disc in reality for about $5 cheaper.

I guess that is true, I've never thought about it like that. I'm sure he sells alot of plastic at that price, I would want to also if I was getting into the borderline hypothermia inducing waters . I guess sometimes though I wish I could pick up the discs for a little cheaper when it's not a disc I really need but rather something I just want to try out. I'd be much more inclined to pick up a couple discs I wouldn't have otherwise tried if I was getting a deal on them.

I can understand that, but if you want to try something why not spend $10 for the used one instead of the full $15+tax and if you dont like it you can sell it back to someone else for $10 assuming you havent beat it up too much. this idea that you arent getting a 'deal' is pretty strange because you are saving roughly 35% for the nearly the same product.......

I don't remember their prices off the top of my head, but I've found Play-It-Again Sports to be pretty competive with a large variety of discs. They also have quite a few used ones that a cheap.

And as far as that other guy......keeping discs and not calling them isn't cool. Take that one step farther and not calling people and selling them= greater chance of testicle cancer.
