Thank you to everybody who showed up yesterday. A good time was had by all. Yes, there was a scoring SNAFU. Lou and Matt actually tied with CJ and Jim, but to the Halls, thank you for being cool. Again, I appologize.
To answer Chuck's question. It goes to all improvements of the courses. We ARE working on Bear Branch, however there are others that this fund benefits. As if yesterday's INTENDED event wasn't enough, we ended up having 25 people stick around for some flip doubles @ Bear Branch that afternoon!
I always appreciate it when the South Siders make the trek up to our side of town, and so I give a special thanks to all of the Southies that made it up.
I do the 50% payout on the cash because it does make it a little more competitive, and because I play the Commando Mini, and that same system is used there. It works for Larry, and since I help him run that system when he's not in town, I'm familiar with its success.
One stat that stands out for me yesterday was the participation of 4 juniors. WE NEED MORE OF THEM! It was truly a pleasure to play with them. I go to play with Supergirl yesterday for the first time. All I can say is, what a talent!
$200 was raised yesterday, and $200 was paid out among 6 teams. Thanks again for the support, and we will run a different format next month.
