Yeah and as they work you pray they don't hit one of the trees in the fairways.

That's what I personally like about the course. If it wasn't so challenging it would just be like all the other Houston area courses and not unique.

PLacing trees in a way that nobody can reach the basket is not challenging it is stupid. Now placing trees in the way that force you to hit a defined line on the fairway to get to the basket is what I consider challenging.

Then again by your thinking it is definatly the most challenging of the 150+ courses I have played but by my thinking it ranks in the bottom 5.

Well I haven't played that many courses but I'm not of the opinion that courses should be formulaic with every 320ft hole reachable. The variety is good IMO.

Yeah but making 18 sub 320 holes that you cannot reach is unheard of. We play a game that we love partly due to the flight of our discs yet the course has trees in all the wrong places which makes throwing a clean short almost impossible. It is the shortest course I have ever seen that I don't think a 1000 rated player would shoot under par on 75% of the time.

Maybe that is because when designing the course the designer put in a course she could play very well on that also suits her short game by taking away everyone else's good drives.

I have only walked the course and didn't throw any discs but from looking at the fairways I would be happy with 4 lucky birdies.

Jim Kelly, myself, Dixon, and Mark McCoin played out there today. Spider city. We all looked like blind dorks out there swinging sticks at all the spider webs out there.
Best score out there was +1. Need to do some debris removal for certain.

Does anybody know if there will be tree removal going on before the tournament? If so I would be glad to help and I am sure I can find friends to join.
