I love the irony of calling someone an idiot with misspelled, public property defacing, graffiti....

Played the course with a group of friends on Sunday afternoon. The course is in great shape and the weather was perfect. I'm hating the fact that I'm at work and not out there playing it again today.

Jake,

I didn't know who to let know but since this is a thread concerning course conditions I thought it to be appropiate. The basket on hole 15 is in need of some serious love. The chains are all rusted and a couple of them are broken. I am sure you know this already but maybe there is someone you can contact or even the birdshot guys can help out a little. Just a thought. Later.

I'm pretty sure Birdshot might be able to foot the bill for some new chains....we did it for a couple of baskets at Mozola last year. I'll talk to Chuck about it & we'll see what we can do.

Cool, thanks Billy...

BTW, for you local extreme golfs out there, I'm playing Brooks around 4:30 today providing the lighting stays away.

This morning the mosquitoes were terrible at the North Course. We managed the first nine but decided to call the game after that. A shame too because the weather was great.

There was a sign up for a disc golf store in Santa Fe on the board there. We tried to find it after leaving the park but didn't see it. Can anyone give me better directions than 6 miles north of Jack Brooks on Hwy 6?

Once you make a right at the gas station go about 6 miles and it is on the left side on Hwy 6. There is a bunch of cedar swings and creations in the front. If you play with bob and the construction crew (red) and all them they know exactly where it is. The have only Discraft merchandise in the store at this moment. I hope that helps a little.

I forgot to mention about the mosquitoes as well. They are very aggressive and all over the place. It was very difficult to play a round out there. I hope the calm down a little soon. The weather has been great but conditions are bad or rough.
