PM sent. Since I can't play at the tournament on Saturday, I am going to be teaching some new players on Saturday at TC Jester park.

Bear Branch:
  • Not designed or consulted by Houck
  • #17 back teepad is not really easier unless you dont throw the mando through the tunnel
Spring Valley:
  • The photo labeled power 9 is not power 9
  • Hole info looks screwed up

If you're talking about the content of specific user reviews, then you should probably contact those users directly.

In my review I stated that #17 was easier if you don't thrown down the tunnel and that there should be a mando posted indicating such, because at the time I played and reviewed the course there was no mando marking of any kind on that hole.

Phil uploaded that picture that he's labeled as Basket #2 on Power 9. Which one do you think it is.

The different layout configurations at Spring Valley make it such that they don't fit nicely into the DGCR Hole Info structure. There's a post on the DGCR forums as well as notes on the Hole Info page explaining the logic behind how it's shoehorned in. In a nutshell the different DGCR tee colors are used to represent the SV layouts. This enables users to easily pick which layout was played in the DGCR Scorebook and get the right distances automatically.

The pic of the Power 9 hole was labeled as #2 already, not #9.

As for SSA, you can check the results from the most recent C-Tier that played the standard F18 layout here:
