Chuck has mentioned wanting Birdshot to run a Tuesday night league, since this is such a popular course....who posts here that would be interested?

Thanks, Kemah Boardwalk, for the free show! They're talking about making it a regular thing....if you've never played at night, you're missing out....had a blast!

The night game was great fun.

I would advise that the light up BlackJax discs at Academy are pretty worthless. The putter isn't that bad but the driver is useless. Next time I'm going to get some of those little taped on lights the rest of you had.

Yes, the box for five is more out of the way of four's fairway now....plus that box was just MESSED UP....ready to break somebody's ankle at a moment's notice! Also I wanted to post this here to get rid of the thumbs down on the message board!

I created a Facebook group for the Miramar course. Thought it might be a good way to find other locals playing the course who are not on this board.

Miramar Disc Golf Course on Facebook.

Played a full round of 18 today (best round ever with one over par and 5 birdies!) and noticed that both of the rakes along 7 & 8 are missing. I checked in the usual locations and didn't find them. I suspect the rakes are either at the bottom of the water or they're gone.

Shame.

Dang Chris, 1 over? 5 birdies? Jeez a wheez. You have been getting better every week it seems like. This league will tell if it is a fluke or not. Nice score either way though.

It helped that there was no wind at all. The stillest day on the course ever. Tomorrow I hope I'll be able to pull in a 55 again!
