Sounds like the Shadow Creek Ranch course which is located around a flood control pit. Shadow Creek is hard to find and no parking. Below average course too. Only worth checking out if you live nearby.

Chuck, I played there this weekend and met a couple guys who work there. They're looking for some sort of instructional tournament to teach some of the kids out there. Seems like a prime opportunity for a Birdshot mini event.

Billy and I went out there today and evaluated the course. It is below average, but has nice facilities (pavillion with restrooms, water fountains, and electricity). Definitely a problem with teeboxes too close to previous baskets. We tightened up the course by having sidewalk and beyond on most of them (sidewalk only on #5 due to basket position) and drainage ditch and beyond on 1,2,9. We set up a temporary teebox for #4 back in the grass area, about 220'. We will have a mini there someday this year. I need to recontact the park guy and see if they want to do anything for the grand opening. Because of the sprinkler system, Billy wants to call it "The McClendon Park Grand Opening and Wet Tshirt Contest. I don't know, who wants to see a bunch of man boobs on the fat guys.
