Miramar League
It's official! Birdshot will start the Miramar League on Tuesday, July 21, 2009....$20 for six weeks.....$1 each week for ace pot (if you want to)....you get to drop your two worst games....cash payout at the end of the six week series. Winners in each division are determined by a points system...for instance, 1st place gets 10 points...2nd place 9 points, etc.....at the end of the six weeks (and after the two drops...or you can miss two weeks), whoever has the most points wins. We will pay out the top 50% of each division. Start times will be between 5:00 & 6:00...you need to play your round with at least one other league member (two would be better!), and they do not have to be in your division. We WILL be playing the water holes, so if you don't have a floater you might want to get hold of one! Hopefully we'll see a lot of you out there for league play!

We'll see if anybody else wants to start late. Or maybe some players will have finished and will play again with you. Or maybe a couple of the league directors will start late. We'll figure out something ChrisMacG.

Miramar League starts today, gang! One of us should be there no later than 5:00 to 5:15....bring your twenty dollah bill and a buck for ace pot if you dare! My wife had to go back into the hospital yesterday and there's a chance I won't make it tonight, but I'm hoping it works out so I can. We were originally hoping to have everyone start no later than 6:00, but Chris will have a tough time making it til 6:30. That'll still work for a while (maybe this six weeks), but pretty soon that will have you finishing at dark. Show up & look or ask for Chuck Conaway, Gene Engle or me (Billy Gilbert) to get signed up this afternoon....I know a lot of you who play this course regularly & we're hoping you all get in on it....if so, this will be a great league (and long overdue!). Hope to see you all out there later!!!

We had five players sign up last night, but we expect more to get in on this next week. Right now we've got four in Rec & one Advanced player (David Decker wants some competition!)....once word gets out (it HAS been posted on the course board!) hopefully more people will get involved.
