suemac- "what is going on in Austin"? I will hit up Circle C. Pease park was my first course back in 1990. I always go there when in Austin. I have heard of Manor and will check it out. Do the Jack Brooks parks have maps? easy to find tees? Is the mini a Mazolla a league or nighlty cash mini? thanks again |

If you are going to Jack Brooks, when you turn into the park, go to the T and turn right for the original course. The new course to the left does not have its teeboxes marked yet.

East Metro Park, in Manor August 1st at 10am Sign up starts at 9:30am Entry fees $5 for all Amateur divisions $10 for the Open division Optional Carry-Over Ace Pot of $2 I didn’t hear of anyone hitting an ace at the July mini, so the acepot should be over $200. There is more, but PM me and let me know when you plan to be there. |

Pasadena's Burke-Crenshaw park is down to 4 baskets. The city parks manager is doesn't seem to give a flying-flip about disc golf. I've tried to ask him about the course's future and he responded with out-right lies.
Seabrook's Miramar course is now the closest to Pasadena. Hopefully the Taylor Lake Village course will be installed soon too. |

I worked, and retired from the City of Pasadena, they do not give a flying frog turd about Disc Golf. If you want to beat your head against the wall and try to help Burke-Crenshaw, you are in for a long round of useless golf.
![]() ![]() Andi got her money from the city though, for designing a crap course. Take the money and run could never be more true. LOL

When was the course put into the ground?
And why is the fault of the designer that the City of Pasadena didn't support their investment in the equipment? It is hard to understand why we have courses in places where they are not supported by the municipality or neighborhood. Now that we've got the ear of the Parks dept, maybe they will work to resolve such waste. |
