Default Southwest Handicap Mini - 9/1 @ Imperial Park - 5:45 PM start

Next up: Tuesday 9/1, tee time is 5:45 PM. As the sun sets earlier as the year grows longer the start time will move up so we can see the baskets when we finish.

The Southwest Handicap Mini will be playing at Imperial Park.

Entry fee $7; includes $1 Ace Pot, $1 to TX States fund, and $5 goes back to payout. Payout will be top
45% of finishers.

The series points being earned for playing since 6/30 will be used for a series Finale Invitational event with at least $250 cash payout!

The traveling ace pot payout is currently $129. This Mini is a fund raiser for next year's Texas States so please come out, play some disc golf, have some fun, and show your support.

For the SW Handicap Mini realistic handicaps are based on your PDGA rating and your recent performance on SW courses with specific emphasis on the course being played that week. Also, several other effects are factored into the handicap such as the level of course difficulty.

Thanks to my sponsors:

Regards,
ERic

Default Southwest Handicap Mini - 9/1 @ Imperial Park Results

It was an unusually calm day at Imperial Park yesterday and the low scores were on display. Randall took first place this week on his first time playing Imperial, nice consistent shooting. I parked the CTP hole (#2's basket) but gave up the prize pack, so we did a throw off on the practice basket and Rick took honors there.

Next week we're playing Erickson/Payne Home DGC, same
5:45 PM start time.

Thanks to my sponsors:

Below are the current standings in the series points for the Finale Invitational. There are only four weeks to go to try and make the minimum eight events to qualify! The top eight series point earners get in free.

And remember, the top 20 point earners get a free Southwest Handicap Mini CFR disc.

Thanks for the shout-out, ERic, and for the kind comments, Chuck. Today's blog post featured Patrick Brogdon tossing a disc (better that than his cookies!).

If you want to see more disc golf photos and blog posts, just click on the disc golf category on the right side of the web page. I seem to write about disc golf a couple times a month. Can't imagine why!

Default Southwest Handicap Mini - 9/8 @ Erickson/Payne - 5:45 PM start

Next up: Tuesday 9/8, tee time is 5:45 PM. With only four weeks left to qualify for the Finale Invitational the competition is really heating up.

The Southwest Handicap Mini will be playing at Erickson/Payne Home DGC.

Entry fee $7; includes $1 Ace Pot, $1 to TX States fund, and $5 goes back to the weekly payout. Payout will be top 45% of finishers.

The series points being earned for playing since 6/30 will be used for a series Finale Invitational event with at least $250 cash payout!

The traveling ace pot payout is currently $140.
