Course Maintenance & Improvements

I finally made it back over Sunday afternoon (after the air show crowd)...seven holes in a funky layout...two of the tees are directly crossing the fairway of the hole before! I guess it's nice that they didn't get rid of the course altogether, but somebody didn't really know what they were doing when they laid this new design out. I'm still going over there this afternoon, however....I have to work the election tonight over on Allen Genoa, so it's close. I should be there by 4:00 if anyone wants to join me for criss-cross-golf! I don't have to be at the IBEW Hall until 6:30...although I'll probably go around two or three times & then go get something to eat.

I typed up a course modification proposal for Andi Young to look over and send to Pasadena Parks. It has 3 options.
Option #1 - Redesign current 7 for safety
Option #2 - Add alternate tee boxes for current 7
Option #3 - Add holes 8 - 12 that continue to wrap around the park and you end up back at the parking lot again. Shorts and/or longs for 8-12.
Birdshot will have a mini there next year. We will flag our own tee boxes and maybe bring in some temp baskets.
