Default New guy on the block
Just stopping in to say "Hello".

I have just recently discovered disc golf (sadly not until I was in my 40's) but have fallen in love with it!

Looking forward to possibly getting together with some of you folks or even joining a league at some point.

I did not begin until my 40's either. The sport is hassle free most of the time. Most tournaments and leagues have divisions that you can play in almost immediately. There are leagues and tournaments all over town. There are courses with water hazards (read lose your discs) and those with none. Have a great time out in this wonderful heat.

Yeah I played Northside Christian Church today...... SON was it hot!!!!!! I have played a few courses locally and I have played Research Park in Collage Station a few times..... With each round finding me in one of the two water hazards before it was over. Some after discs and well some just to cool off

dont know what part of town your in, but macgregor park has a league on wed. round 5ish. new one should be starting soon. (see mac-g league forum) lotta players of all levels. moffet ,same deal, different day, litterally. oh yeah,WELCOME!!!! you should find everything you need on this site. click on the course threads for more detailed info.
