Default Rainy Day Courses

I was wondering what courses are good to play with all this rain we are having. I know that McDade, and Kingwood don't have a lot of standing water, and that Agness Moffit and TC Jester hold water for a while. What other course do or don't hold water in the Houston area?

Miramar Park in Seabrook drains fairly well, but it's a nine-hole (we're working on alternatates)....and it's long way from where you live! McDade is gonna be your best bet on the North side.

terramont obviously drains real well, however there is some weird mysterious algea shit growing in the grass, (for real) that makes the hill extremely slippery....I fell down 3 times on that hill Tuesday evening....almost spilt my beer

The Mighty Mazola. But then you have other water hazards to watch out for. Can't beat the scenery though.

Hey Biker!

As much as I think that the Spring Valley and Oak Meadow courses are great, I would pick Mozola Memorial course every time if it was 18 holes instead of 9 holes with 2 tees!

It really is a very good course and drains very rapidly...the only caveat would be "...as long as the bayou doesn't rise up so high that it comes over the banks."

It always gets my vote for one of the best courses in town though...

Here's a suggestion for you to consider too: Take 2 old discs with you to play the course. Use them when throwing on #2 and #5 as those are the two holes you might be most likely to lose a disc in the water.

Come down south, me lad. MoCity par, First Colony, and Imperial all with drainage built in. (Course I did ditch my shoes at Imperial, simply cuz I had to jump the creek to retrieve my errant throws)

I played Mac Gregor today. It was wet in some spots, but it was playable. The only real bad spot was the # 10 basket. Very, very muddy.
