Is a Dog Park close to or in the park?

Its on the other side of the parking lot from the course, they just built it actually so it seems like a waste to renovate it again with $500,000.

Its in one of the areas we considered for expanding the course, but if they make it any bigger we will probably lose that spot. Soccer, baseball, skateboarding, now dog parks

Saw the new swimming pool when I was there 2 weeks ago, too. (Insert Jefferson's theme song here)

Yeah, the unofficial dog park at TLV was an area that baskets could not be considered for installation. Gotta share with the dogs too you know. Wasn't there a movie about Dog Parks? Or was it Dirty Old Dogs? I didn't see the movie, so I don't remember the exact title.

FYI - Some people had asked after Loch & Load at Macgregor last week when the next mini was & Chuck said Saturday Nov. 6th at Jester. Well...many months ago that mini was tentatively scheduled for that date, but somewhere along the line we forgot to put it on the actual schedule on our website...thus making a few of us Birdshot people forget about it! Whoops! Then some of us got to talking behind Chuck's back (as we often do...not really!) and decided that our time would be better spent that Saturday doing a workday out at Jack Brooks to get ready for the B-tier on the November 13th...so that is ultimately what we decided to do. Chuck & Larry still plan on walking Jester on the 6th to do some more scouting for the possible expansion out there...and let's face it, wouldn't it be more fun to do a mini or tourney out there with the expanded holes? So....for those of you (like ERic) who were actually paying attention when Chuck said Jester mini on the 6th....the once-forgotten mini will now be rescheduled to a later date. Please come out to Jack Brooks park that morning instead & help us make the courses the best they can possibly be for the Final!

If you are looking to complete your round at TC Jester in the most expeditious manner possible, then you should park in the church parking lot across the bayou. Play hole 9. Make up a new t-box for hole #4 somewhere along 43rd. It might be wise to make sure you can see the basket to insure that you do not hit someone playing #4 from across the bayou. After completing hole #4, then play #5-#8. Next, move your vehicle to the parking lot near #1 T-box. Play 1-3 and 10-13. Next, move your vehicle to the street next to the T-box for #18. Play 18-21 and then 14-17. Playing on a card with 5 people in the manner described above took 3 hours.

Of course, the best way to play for physical fitness is to take the long walks. However, many times people want to play a round in the most expeditious manner possible.

Peace,

Dennis
