Paul and I replaced all the missing tee stakes yesterday evening. Hopefully they last through the weekend.

When can we expect the permanant tees to be put in place?

Btw, I realize all my posts are about the timing of when things will be done with the course. Please don't take it as me being unappreciative of what is out there. You guys have done a great job and have continued to impress me with how quickly you respond and get things done.

I'm just a terrible disc golfer who enjoys playing the sport. Thanks for all the info and more importantly things for the great course right next to my house.

Hopefully they will go in this month, our HPARD rep is trying his best to get a crew out there to finish up the tees and the warm-up basket. It could be as early as next week, but can't promise that.

Course OB Rules:
  • On or beyond all paths (gravel and concrete)
  • Sidewalks
  • Streets
  • Water in the creek or bayou only (the concrete in the bayou is not OB)

The water was up significantly last night...it looked like it was about 2 feet short of being at the top of the concrete. I think it is safest to call all concrete at the bottom of the bayou as OB rather than to have anyone attempt to play from the slippery concrete slopes. Your explanation above also doesn't explain the special conditions necessary for hole #3 Blue tee.

Here are the rules for I'll be using for the Commando and leagues.

Quote:
TC Jester Course(s)General:
We play on or beyond all paths, streets, roads and concrete as Out-of-Bounds. The concrete comes into play along the bayou on holes 4-9 and should be played as OB.

North-13
Play holes 1 - 13.

South-15
Play holes 1 - 3 then 10 - 21.

2-meter rule:
Not in effect for mini or league.

Special Conditions:
#3 Blue tee is presently outside of the pathways. Tee shots must cross the inbounds territory or thrower must re-tee "throwing three" - which is the throw plus a penalty throw.

Pedestrians:
Please yield to pedestrian traffic! Unfortunately, many of the holes here at TC Jester require throws across or are in close proximity to the jogging trails. For the sake of being good-will ambassadors of our sport, please be conscious of and courteous to other park users. I see a whole lot of people watching the ours cards of players navigate the course, and I suspect that this may bring many new players out to try it out with us. Make sure you tell them about this mini and HFDS leagues! Thanks!

Im just stating the course rules. I cant control what kind of rules are made up for tournaments or leagues. The concrete is plenty safe to play from. Making the concrete in the bayou OB is double punishment and I dont agree with it. Here it is again:

Course OB Rules:
  • On or beyond all paths (gravel and concrete)
  • Sidewalks
  • Streets
  • Water in the creek or bayou only (the concrete in the bayou is not OB)
  • Hole 3 - Blue tee shoots from OB, disc must cross the path, otherwise re-tee
  • Hole 4 - if a disc lands in the water it is OB, play from where it went out

Can somebody please tell me where the short 2 tee is supposed to be. I have played 3 different tee locations. Is this tee being tested for a possible different location or is it just being moved around by random people?

The stake gets pulled out every few days and someone just puts it wherever they want I guess.

The past two days it has been in the correct location, and still is at the moment because I hammered it pretty deep into the ground this time.

It belongs up and to the right of the blue tee, behind where the old #3 box was. You can see it on this map (attached)
