Default A quick tourney question

Hello,

Im new to all this. My nephew and I normally just go play at as many courses as we can. We are trying to find a tournament that is happening this weekend. I was told about one in college station. If you have any others we can play, that would be great. We are not members of any organization, so keep that in mind. Thank you

There are a couple other PDGA sanctioned tournaments this weekend in addition to the unsanctioned College Station one.

Corpus Christi is a A-Tier so you'd have to be a PDGA member to play in that one.

Waterloo (Austin) is a C-Tier so you can pay the $10 adder to the normal registration fee to play in that one.

There are threads on this message board with details about all three of these events.

Typically you'd check the PDGA site for the schedule of sanctioned tournaments, but that site has been down for a week or so as they transition to new servers, software, design, etc. For now only the PDGA message board is functioning. More details here:

What side of Houston? There is basically a N. Side and a S. Side disc golf group currently (I don't know why there aren't many on the E. side of town from what I can tell.) Stay tuned in here and ask when you don't see it and we will all be glad to try and point you in the right direction.

You also have two choices of mini tournaments on Sunday:

Morning: The Commando Mini at Spring Valley DGC.
Afternoon: The Winter Long Series at The LINKS at Quail Valley.

Neither of those require you to be a PDGA member.
