Birdshot/DG ProShop present HOHO II/Jan. 7, 2012

Here comes the new year right around the corner...and with the new year comes the new series for Birdshot for 2012! Join us downtown at Mozolla for the 2nd Annual Heart of Houston Open on Saturday January 7th! If you were there last year then you know what a blast it was...if not, then you're in for a treat! We expand the course to include holes on the other side of the bayou and even over by the HPD Memorial! Online registration coming soon to www.houstonbirdshot.com...should be a good start to what's looking to be a very full disc golf year!

This year we will be playing the full proposed layout with better flow. BBP is not done with the real pathway, but Paul is making some temporary stairs that we can use on the day of the tourney to link the two areas together and allowing passage under Memorial Drive between holes 17 & 18. Map attached.

What are the distances? They all look around the same on the map.

Updated map with distances. These are not exact, but should give you some idea until I can get out there and measure with the wheel

Alright, Birdshooters.....the first tourney of the new year is just one week away! If you're planning on attending you can go ahead & register now at www.houstonbirdshot.com and not have to worry about it selling out! Also...if you're just now getting around to renewing your PDGA membership be sure to print out a copy of your receipt from PDGA & bring it with you to the tournament....if you cannot prove that you're current it WILL be an extra $10!!! Hopefully you have all done this already like yours truly....I got my renewal package early last week! If you missed out last time then be sure to get in on this one this time around....it will be a blast!

No flags yet, but the tees and baskets are painted on the ground, the tees are blue paint and baskets should be orange X's
