The 21st annual HFDS TC Jester Park Ice Bowl
for the benefit of the Houston Food Bank

In these historically tough economic times, there are more folks than ever that will need the Houston Food Bank’s assistance. Please come out, play some disc golf and help the hungry in our community. Pre-Order Merchandise available to order until Dec. 21st. See order form link (coming soon).

• Location: TC Jester Park
• When: Saturday, January 21st
• Time:
  • Sign up between 9:00 -10:00 AM.
  • Tee off after Players Meeting
  • Estimated time to play the round: 3 to 4 hours. Bring snack food to eat while playing
    
• Cost:
  • $10 entry fee per player.
  • Optional $1 mulligan.
  • Optional $1 Ace Pot. If not hit, donated to Houston Food Bank
• Bring extra money for raffle tickets! Traveler Basket Grand Prize!
• If you have anything that you can donate for additional raffle prizes, please bring it. It will add to the fun and hopefully encourage more donations to the Food Bank.
• Players that additionally pay for an HFDS membership will receive an additional 5 raffle tickets.

Divisions offered are same as HFDS leagues. HFDS ratings are used.

• Gold: 950+
• Blue: 900 – 949
• White: 850 – 899
• Red: 800 – 849
• Green: 750 – 799
• Purple: <750

Gold, Blue, and White will play the Long/Blue tees
Red, Green, and Purple will play the Short/White tees.
Pick your own scorecard group up to 5 players.

Payout Prizes (remember this is a charity event):

• 1st Place for each color division wins a Full Color Disc
• 2nd Place wins a Nice Disc
• 3rd Place wins an Ice Bowl Towel

I have it on good authority that Randy Samora will be raising money for the Food Bank. He's promised to wear a tie-dyed Moo-moo Granny Dress and high heels if we can raise $100 or more for his efforts. I can just see him throwing across the bayou, strolling over the bridge, yeppers, we need to meet the money goal and see him in action.

Who knows............we might start a trend, maybe Randy can talk his partner, David Currey into joining in on the bet.....I know I'd pay to see the pair properly attired.

Depends if his bolt or sidewinder will let him. The valkyrie is okay with it, they need a 2/3 majority though.

I had an engagement in Austin that weekend, but if we can get Samora into femme getup, I'll change plans and get out the camera.
