Won't be able to make the meeting tonite. Had a mishap at work and now have two staples in my head. Won't keep me from playin some golf or the tournament. Funny that it happened on an "ODD" day. 5-7-09. Wife don't get off til 8 tonite anyways. See everyone at Oak Meadows this Saturday.

At work at a paint company and I drive a flat bed that has gates going around the bed, each gate is about 3 ft. by 5 ft. and weight about 50 lbs. 1 of them is a pain to get off and I held the gate by the bottom instead of the top when I took it off and it had to fall one way and it was my head. Have a HAZ MAT place card on it and I think that one of the prongs got me. I grab my head and seen the blood and laughed about it telling my brother I might have to get stitches. The blood was coming out pretty good, running down my face to the ground, but they put staples in instead. Wife said she could put the tip of her finger in the gash. I've had stitches about 13 times but this is my first time to get staples. I'm going back to work tomorrow. Won't keep me from playin the tournament through that's for sure.

Welcome to August!
With World's behind us, the summer coming to an end, and the fall fast approaching, it is time for the monthly meeting of the North Side Chain Gang. The meeting will be held at Seth Johnson's house @ 7 pm., this Thursday. The major topic for the evening will be the upcoming Spring Valley tournament. We will also discuss the current Conroe developments and our efforts to make things happen up there.
