Pretty clever - I consider myself a cross-over for certain which is probably not common between those two sports. Good strategy for Wally Mart and TCH to score wider appeal.

They ended up doing a real four-man team all playing best shot, so there were a lot of birdies going around.

Top two teams both had five holes with '3' and birdied everything else except... the difference was Dixon's ace on #18 vs. our bird. I think he made more money off "51 club" than he would have if he'd paid for the ace pot.

So the best score was only -13? I expected -16 or so with 4 people getting to drive and putt.

What did the 1st place team win?

-14 for the first place team. IIRC the payout was ~$160 to split. Charity fundraiser....

I think he was talking about hole 11. That one can be tough. Our team did manage to birdie it though...between a great drive by Matt and an awesome putt by Tracy! I wish we had played that well on the other holes. : )
It was a lot of fun to play and should they offer it again, everyone should bring a team. It is a charity event...didn't someone say we needed more of those.
