matchu,
If you can't get a ride down there, let me know, we'll take care of that. It'll be awesome to have you play.

Mr. Blue I would venture to guess that Sue would pass on your offer, just a guess.

Well, Lou, I just believe that the state of our game in this city is nowhere near the doom and gloom indicated by some. It should be better, and as I have stated before, it is going in that direction. So here in lies an opportunity for one of Houston Disc Golf's most vocal opponent to come on out and show us all how it is done. An opportunity to show us all the wrong things with the Birdshot people. A chance to put a nail in the coffin as they say.
If you pass on a free opportunity within your home town, then you are left with little room to bitch. I got your message earlier today, and I agree that was a mistake last time. I venture to guess it will be remedied this event, but given the tier event, and the implications for Matt's goals, I do not blame him for passing. I've spoken with Matt, and I'm looking forward to offering an event of his caliber within the near future. But in the meantime, I think that people who go to a Birdshot event will be hard pressed to find the level of disappointment with our local game, local players, and local spirit. To flat dismiss the effort for the good it has done is an insult to Birdshot, players both new and old who play these events, and to Houston Disc Golf in general. So the door is open for Sue to come on out. It's free, and I venture to guess she might find some stiff competition as well. HMM.... sounds like a little side bet be a brewing.... maybe? Well either way, Sue, come on out on me and have a good time at a course in Houston that is one of the best in my honest opinion. Hell, if it weren't so far from me, I'd be there way more than I am. |

I would be happy to play, and those are strong words to say that I oppose disc golf in Houston. You know nothing about me, other than I speak my mind. When I do that I know I will feel the "wrath" of jerks like you.
But I will be there, so put me down. I will be playing open women. I hope that Emily will be in attendance. Thanks again for your offer. |

BTW, I like Jack Brooks and it was the only Birdshot event I attended. If anyone wants to carpool down there, let me know.

I'm cranky old woman. As I said before, I say what is on my mind.
If you were a reader of the old discussion board, you would know that I have been a participant for many years. I assure you that I am a "glass half full" kinda girl in most cases, but recently I have seen problems that need to be addressed. I don't have to be at an event to know that something was stink'n in Denmark. If I didn't say something here, it would have never really been addressed and fixed. My name is Susan Macaluso and I am a cranky old woman. Be glad you only deal with me on the board. LOL And see you guys at Jack Brooks. |

Oh, but I have dealt with you outside of here. Tx State Doubles 2006 ring a bell? Probably not, but I do.

Yes, you won Men's Rec that year, right?
I own all my past actions. As for anything that happens at Snow Farm: What happens at the Farm, stays at the Farm. ![]() And we do agree on one thing.....we agree to disagree. Let me ask one other thing, how many of you guys are still without power? |
